I have yet again forgot to take a picture of the snickers cake; but, since I had extra cake and frosting I decided to try something that I saw on Bakerella's blog and make little cake pop things. I didn't make them into pops because I didn't have any sticks and didn't feel like buying some so I made little truffle balls instead. Basically all I did was take the extra chocolate cake that I had and crumbled it all up. Next I added some of the extra caramel buttercream and some chopped snickers pieces to the cake crumbles. I actually added to much frosting so my mixture was a little to wet and sticky, so, I had to freeze it so that it would make a stiff enough ball to dip. Finally, I rolled the mixture into balls and dipped it into melted chocolate (I did have trouble with dipping because of the softness of the mixture). I can see how it would be so much easier to make them into pops cause then you would have something to hold on to unless you have candy dipping tools, which I don't. I hear they tasted pretty good though.
